Membership

Noosa Chorale is a community choir. Membership is open to anybody in the community who has a desire to sing great choral works. Many people with little musical experience have developed their singing and musical skills through the Chorale.

Although an ability to read music is an advantage, it is not necessary for membership of the choir and there are no auditions for prospective members. We place importance on maintaining a friendly and enjoyable rehearsal experience while achieving high standards of musical performance.

Noosa Chorale aims to make membership and concerts financially accessible to as many people as possible. Members pay $5 per rehearsal and ticket prices currently range from $28 to $33.

There is one rehearsal per week of two hours with one or two additional rehearsals called just prior to a performance. All that is asked of members is a commitment to conscientiously attend rehearsals.

The Chorale rehearses on Tuesday nights from 7 to 9.15pm. The venue is Carramar Homes for the Aged, 186 Cooroy-Noosa Rd, Tewantin.
